Low cost and wide labor pool. Not to mention folks like Social Media Club and DFWSEM! :)

Re: Selling on Value: What Does the Solution Allow You to Do?

Mike,
You are so absolutely right. We tend to think technical specs clearly translate into benefits for target consumers. That is the problem why the confusion.
Also, I complete agree to the point where you said, "Don’t assume prospects can connect the dots". That is a most commonly made mistake by many businesses.
Selling on value to me is simple:
If I am solving a problem for my prospect or providing a result that my prospect is interested in, I am selling on value. If I am selling on features or any other thing, I am not selling on value. What do you think of my definition?

Re: How To Find Prospects on LinkedIn and Google

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Frugality is the new Black – 10 Tips To Become More Frugal

Thanks for that awesome posting. It's definitely worth the time. There is a great app we used called Lean Canvas as well from Ash Maurya at http://leancanvas.com

Mike D. I will definitely cue up for Spring and Startup Weekend Dallas #6. But thank you for your view into the process and the experience. Given the steady stream of startups, I believe market validation is critical for those great ideas to stick and for the gamification to bear fruit. I like that you took a current solution and looked at how to solve the problem & add to the solution a deeper level of value for both buyer & seller. Here's another book I'd add to the list http://www.businessmodelgen.... It will get the ball rolling when thinking about the value proposition of an idea and prepping for a pitch. Good luck to your team and Bookedd. My vote is in.

Re: Zaarly First Experience

Definitely a small world

Mike D.
